It would be interesting to know the rationale of this packaging, you know it was discussed in their marketing meeting..."well the target audience is mechanics and technicians, so we thought they'd appreciate the humor of having the packaging be so opposite of common sense"
I still have a bottle of Loctite for Small fasteners, from when an old company was going under. I could use the stuff, it was unopened , and I think I bought it for $2. Little did I know that this bottle normally goes for like $250 .

It's an intellectual property thing. One brand owned the other then split off. They didn't get to keep their packaging in the divorce, but did still have the formula.
