I need to replace a bad tensioner on my 350SD. FSM says to use Henkel Omnifit 100M. It seems to me it is essentially a red thread locker. However, apparently it acts as a sealant in this application.

Fast-curing, medium viscosity threadlocker adhesive. It is used to secure threaded fasteners that can be disassembled again using normal tools.
