I am not a big fan of 15W40 in a 6.0L as a general rule. Just because more people seem to experience injector stiction issues w/ 15W40 than 5W40 or 10W30.
The 5w40 full synthetic will be fine at -20F thought the 0w40 Rotella T6 is great if you can find it. I don't advocate running at 15w40 HDEO in cold climates unless you are religious about using a block heater. Since you are running low miles per year and a cold winter, take advantage of the full synthetic 5 ow 0W T6 and just change it every spring.
