When I was younger I ate Vienna sausages and also potted meat . Now , it's off the radar completely .
Yes, I forgot about those two. When I was younger I ate Vienna sausages and also potted meat . Now , it's off the radar completely .
What is potted meat? Is it canned corned beef, or any kind of canned meat? Or is it something specific?Yes, I forgot about those two.
Well I never liked vienna sausages in the can very much - soggy and slimey, but I would eat them. I loved white bread and potted meat sandwiches. Little mustard. GTG! Now - I wouldn't even read the ingredients.

I mean I would eat that if low on food.

Run them through a blender along with a big chunk of fat and a tablespoon of salt so that the end result is semi gritty and super salty. In a single word - vile.Take Vienna sausages and mash them up . Best that I can describe it .
"I was thinkin I'm gonna take me some a these taters home with me"What's in 'potted meat?', you ask?
See the movie, "Slingblade" as the description wouldn't pass the auto-censor.
That video was very interesting. I don't think I could bring myself to eat most of those dishes.Tongue ... I ate tongue sandwiches as a very young lad when we went to a local deli. After a while, I found out that tongue was, well, tongue. I stopped eating it.
I found some of the items shown in this video repulsive.

When I was young my parents would throw a Christmas/New Year's party for Dad's work. They would buy jars of these pale limpid sausages in brine or jelly - can't quite remember. (Vienna sausages?)Yes, I forgot about those two.
