valvoline vs pennzoil

Personally, I'd vote for Pennzoil, simply b/c it has more 'stuff' in it's add-pack - it has both moly and boron for wear reduction and cleaning - while Valvoline has neither.

Yeah, I know that doesn't matter worth a spit, but I still 'feel' like I 'get more' for my money with Pennzoil.....

I've used both with confidence.
It would appear that Pennzoil has the stronger additives, but Valvoline just works, so who really knows.

I am kinda partial to Valvoline but PYB/QS are on sale more often and therefore I normally run those simply based on price.

Not that dealers know anything, but out here, the Larry H. Miller group of a couple dozen dealerships use Valvoline products. That being said, I like the Pennz just a bit more than valvo. 6 months ago, I would have said the opposite. I just think Pennzoil has passed Ashland with their current formulations. Just an opinion.
