Satisfied with your oil

I have always been satisfied with every oil I ever used.
I always use a big name brand that meets the spec, and change it at a reasonable interval depending on the kind of driving/use I have been doing.
I run synthetic in vehicles that call for conventional, but never vice-versa.

Following a 5000 OCI, what would make a person dissatisfied with their choice of a conventional or synthetic blend?
I suspect an oil analysis would confirm all was well.

Use PENNZOIL for the last 45 yrs, both SYN and Dino, couldn't be happier.

I thought my two newer Toyota's "tapped" a bit less on xW30 as opposed to 0W20. You could say I was disatisfied with 0W20 but I might just go back to xW20 in the future--I know it was subjective.

I am toying with going back to dino, especially on 5k OCI's which I'm starting to like more as my fleet ages. I don't think it matters all that much, not for my typical driving. Buy what's cheapest.

Never tried a synthetic blend, always just go with straight conventional and change at 5K. Have even stretched the intervals to about 8k on a couple of occasions, but do not really like doing that. Anyway my vehicles have always done just fine on conventional.
