I knew they were switching over. Every year around the first of Sept. gas goes up $ .15-$ .25 a gallon while the switch over is being made and refineries are doing maintenance. Once everything is back online a few weeks later gas prices return to normal.

Thanks for the updIate on the switchover. I've been getting some pretty good milage this last summer from all brands of gas I have used be it top tier or not. If and when I have a drop in milage I will not worry much about it.

Any excuse to add more ethanol. Answer to your question is no. California blend changes.
