Noticed at https://www.toptiergas.com/gasoline-brands/ that GULF gas is TOP TIER listed in PUERT RICO , but not the U.S.. The reason I'm pondering this is that MARATHON is TOP TIER in the U.S. , Puerto Rico and MEXICO . SUNOCO is listed for U.S. and PUERTO RICO . So , does GULF meet the T.T. standards here and not on the list because they don't want to pay to be on the TOP TIER list and use the logo ( sticker placed on gas pumps ) like SUNOCO didn't for a period of time ( https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/sunoco-missing-from-top-tier-list.326209/ ) . SUNOCO is now on on the list and its been 2 years or a bit more . Not sure if SUNOCO has the TOP TIER sticker on the local pumps , been awhile since using SUNOCO . Mostly VALERO that's on the list and uses the T.T sticker on their pumps . CITGO on occasion since they're listed at T.T and it being stated at the pumps .

I see no reason to believe its top tier.
Top tier is determined by how much additives they add at the tanker truck before its delivered to the station.
Its all the same "gas" in the pipeline.

Going by Top Tier's own list and nomenclature, Gulf is not TT in the 50 states.

Delta, Jersey Gas, Stewart's and Fuel 4 aren't on the list....and that's no surprise.

The "Gulf oil company" now only exists as a trade mark, licensed by other companies in different geographic regions. Whoever the licensee is for Puerto Rico also bought a Top Tier license. But in New England, for example, the licensee is Cumberland Farms, and they did not buy a Top Tier license. I have no knowledge if the "Gulf gasoline" sold in New England meets Top Tier detergency standards or not, but they have no license, and the gasoline is not the same sold in Puerto Rico.
