I would recommend getting it done at 100K. Also had the shop change the transfer case and rear end fluids on my 4X4.

ZF recommends a change at 50,000-60,000 miles for their automatics if the vehicle is used for towing, track use, or similar. I plan to change the ATF in my 8HP45 at @55,000 miles.

15 Malibu- I follow the OLM to bout 15% with syn 0w20
07 Escape- 5K with syn blend
10 Fusion- 5K with syn blend or syn
08 Escape- follow the OLM to bout 15% with syn blen or syn oil.

Spring and Fall, none of our cars gets over 10k a year in our current work situations.

I change oil about every 8,500 miles. Years ago I read a little about oil and looked at the results of this kind of OCI and was happy with the results. Been doing this for 25 years without any problems. Changing it more often would be for me, well....the opposite of intelligent.

10000 miles with 5w30 syn on 2015 forester and 10000 miles on 2015 jetta.
I've used synthetic from 1978 and gone 10000 mi,as off the bat. All my cars get to 250000+ wth 459000 being a 1976 Saab 900. Both cars do mostly short trips with a long highway run 1 day a week.
My next oil change will probably be Amsoil 0w30 in both cars.

5000 mi. oil and filter. old cars, new cars. synthetic and conventional. has worked for me for 30 years and easy to keep up with the 5000 intervals.

2012 Dodge 3.6L changed every 6 months as per the OEM schedule. Car is driven every day, only clocks up maybe 4000-6000 km in 6 months. I have used a 5w30 syn blend but may switch to 10w-30 as it's significantly cheaper here.

10k oci on 2007 tundra w/165k. Oil looks great after 10k, no usage.

10k oci on 2013 rav4 w/68k. Oil looks great after 10k, no usage.

They will rust out or something else will go before the engine doing 10k oci's.

5K = 2018 MB C300 (Some Fuel Dilution and Twin Turbo)
5K = 2018 MB GLC43 (Some Fuel Dilution and Turbo)
5K = 2015 Ford PSD (Fuel Dilution; but sometimes can go out to 7K)
8K = 2014 Ford Explorer

2006 Tacoma 2.7L (daily driver), change oil and filter every 7500 miles, full synthetic.
1995 Corvette LT1 (weekend warrior), change oil and filter once a year, usually about 5,000-6,000 miles, full synthetic.

none of my cars sees more than 5k a year so I just change oil once a year. I know the owners manuals usually say 5k or 6 months but it just seems a waste to drain oil after only 6 months

The owners manual of my car states every 12 months / 6000 miles or 6 months / 3000 miles in tough conditions.
I usually go with the middle and change each 4500-5000mls.
I could probably extend this interval quite a bit with those maintenance intervals set by the standards 30 years ago, but I better be safe than sorry!

I’m not gonna be cheap on one the most cheapest yet most important component of car maintenance..
