Hi-I have seen, but now can't find the reference, for using ST6607 filters to replace the JD M806418 oil filters for the small Yanmar engines. Any opinions one way or the other as to doing this? Thanks-Bill

Donaldson references the same filter for the JD # and the Wix equivalent to the ST6607. Donaldson doesn't recognize that number.

Thanks for the prompt replies. Spring oil changes this week and that's sure a good price for reasonable quality filters. Thanks again. Bill

AutoZone has the STP equivalent as well and is made by Champ, but about $4 ea. I think they call theirs the S6607 and is comparable to the SuperTech offering. I think you pay the extra buck for the STP name?

But with the ST line you can get the 7317 and have a little longer filter for the same price.
