15. Applying for mail in rebates, and posting about how fast you get them, if you get them.
16. Realizing that most mainstream automotive advice is either wrong or generalized.

If you have 4WD or AWD, and you have replaced the front differential oil, transfer case oil, rear differential oil, and any other related driveline lube.
If you have a manual transmission, you have changed the oil in it as often as a noob has had their automatic transmission fluid changed. When you do change the gear oil, you don't use hypoid gear oil unless required. If you have a hydraulic clutch, you replace that fluid regularly.
If your power steering systems called for regular transmission fluid and you replaced it with premium transmission fluid.
You replace your brake fluid before it looks gross or fails a fluid test.
You know which nearby Walmart locations stock your preferred oil and which ones don't.
You never accept it when a manufacturer says it is "Lubed for life" and find a way to change the fluid anyway.
You have some proprietary tools or tools that you made yourself because the manufacturer didn't want a DIY-er to do that job.
