Sweet, I convinced dad to buy a new Camry SE V6 back in 1992 after getting a super low trade in value on an 86 Riviera. Which led to new Camrys every 5 years. But all the rest of them were 4 cylinders. The first V6 had 185 HP and I think the 2012 I4 has 189 HP.
I didn't convince then... the 2006 Sebring blowing a headgasket (while the Neon suffered torque converter death rattles) did that. I kinda helped that I had about 5 years of near repair-free (brakes) MR2 fun.
Shoot, we had Lebarons, a New Yorker, Sebrings, and Neon growing up.... uggg. Had a Lemon 91 Towncar, Ford LTD, and a bulletproof 300K DeVille. And it wasn't like my family was completely Chrysler US made only... I grew up with a 240Z and a 280Z too. Those were fun
