787 Dreamliner gets off the ground - literally

Realized there is no thread for this plane so lets start one.

After being plagued by a plethora of delays the Boeing 787 dreamliner project finally got off the ground - literally!
I am assuming thats a good sign! I am glad they made it.

Saw a few pictures - boy that is some wingflex I have not seen on very many planes!

About time guys. We'll see what the next 2 years brings to both Boeing and Airbus. Last time I checked, Boeing was losing a few orders to Airbus' A350XWB which is still in a stillborn phase.
