I would change oil every year, and the filter every two years. Keeping the fuel stable is the most important thing to do. Richard

I agree with Landrew, look for a good used Honda,Kawasaki,Yamaha,Suzuki,I just bought a 2001 Kawa Bayou 220 for $650 one-owner, needed a battery, and carb clean out and was good to go. Best Regards, Zedrone

Initial quality ratings are fine, but how they hold up down the road will determine if people buy again. Congrats to GM.

Parts are still avaliable, I have one of these, probably need a carb kit and replace the air filter. Not an easy starting engine under the best of conditions.

2004 did your machinist pressure check the heads? That should have discovered any leaks in them. also be sure to use new head bolts on reassembly. RM

Check with TireRack.com they have ratings and reviews. I put Grabbers on my Rainier 2 WD but have had to replace 3 of them with runout problems, it maybe the Texas heat. Think I'll go back to the factory Michellins next time
