Not sure of the price but i know it's in the $60,000 range.. I compared that to the mercedes and Hyundai got it by a mile
On that note, the 429HP seems to be gauged using Shetland Ponies, as real life performance of this engine does not meet what would be delivered by an engine making that kind of power. We've discussed this in the past with respect to the Genesis.
The Equus has a 0-60 of 6.4 seconds. This is a 4,600lb sedan. My 4,100lb sedan with a mere 400HP has a 0-60 of 4.8 seconds.
The Equus has a 1/4 mile time of 14.8 @ 98Mph. My '87 Mustang with 225HP was faster than that! The M5 runs mid to high 12's at 112-115Mph.

So either the Germans are using Clydesdale's and the Koreans are using Shetlands or Hyundai has the world's least efficient drivetrain and is seriously over-rating their 5.0L V8.
And just in case the M5 was an unfair comparison:

2006 BMW 750i, with 360HP and 360 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 of 5.4 seconds and a 1/4 mile of 13.9 @ 103Mph. Curb weight of 4,506lbs.
