I think that's too long for OCI #2. Chevys load up the oil with Tons of junk at break in. I would do 3K, maybe. Depends on how it looks and feels and smells.

So you're at 1500, just changed, and sounds like you are planning to go 7k on dino now. Cool...so with 5500 raining I'd take the current fill 2500 and the following fill 3000.

No, they said it takes 7k (2 dino fills) to break it in. I will go 2500 on dine 2 times then go to synthetic.

Are there any 30 grade motorbike oils out there? That might be the ticket. I can only find 4T's.

Again, if you aren't seeing any oil use now, the rings are seated.

The engine will continue to wear in until you finally wear it out.

There's no reason not to go to PP on your next change.

I would change the oil mix you have in there now after 3000 miles and then extend to your standard OCI using PP after that.
