Motorcraft FL820S and Mobil 1 10W30 or Red Line 10W30...I change my Red Line at 5,000 Mi. intervals. You can also run a K&N Perfor. gold filter. You'll be fine with either a 5W or a 10W oil. Don't exceed a 30 weight oil, otherwise you'll loose power. check out www.mustangworld.com

I use 76 gas b/c it was recommended to me by my tuner. I drop in a bottle of Red Line's SI-1 Fuel system cleaner ever oil change, though.

here on the west coast, chevron used to be the best (btu wise). according to my performance tuner, he states that this is no longer the case. 76 gas is the best you can get out here.

Is you GT an 04 or 05? If an 05, there are tighter clearances in your 3-valve 4.6L. I am not a proponent of Xw-20 weight oils. The oil was switched to by Ford and Honda to cut their CAFE numbers...this calculated to 30,000 fewer polluting cars on the road, which is virtually nothing. my tuner...
