ordered wrong filter for Camry

Discovered after draining oil. Reused filter. Did I do bad? Amazon re-funded says to keep filters. Right filters enroute from Ebay .

Nah. Honda has for a long time recommended changing filter every other oil change.

Engine is pretty new. I have a hard time thinking it's shedding that much sludge & garbage so as to overwhelm the filter.

If Toyota says a filter can be on for 10K, and if people run FUs here all the time you're fine.

I'd be leery about the gasket not making a seal but if the seal is still pliable and in good shape it should still be fine as long as the filter is snugly on and no leaks occurred after starting up.

Your vehicle will be fine and still well protected for another OCI with that used filter.
