For all practical purposes, Total brand oil isn't available here in the US. Those companies you listed will likely only be able to get it, but won't stock it.

Just how much difference do you think there is between 5W40 and 5W30 when cold?


Actually I was thinking about the difference between his current 5w40 and a 'robust' 0W30,

*It's a new turbo , so no use running a conventional oil like PYB ... While it would probably work - it's not optimum , so why not stay with at least a semi - synthetic and preferred would be a full synthetic .

Vehicle appears to be under warranty, and I bet 0W30 isn't listed as an option.
