It's not banned, per se, just can't be sold due to existing regs.

Makes more sense...take the folate out (don't know why they add it anyway), and sell to your heart's content.

For some reason the FDA has a hang-up about Folic Acid which is essential for human health.
These are the same fools that came up with the "Food Pyramid" that they claim is proper for Humans when in fact it is more a proper diet for cows.... Hmmmmm.
Another "We are from the Gov't, we are here to help" hoax.
Sometimes I think the FDA deliberately trys to kill us.
