Is there a winter setting on these engines? I notice during the cooler and more so in the cold months my combi boggs down. Doesn’t stall. Runs like a beast in the warmer months. I see the chainsaws have this setting. Thanks.

The "winter" setting on small engines simply directs air flow from the used cooling air onto/into the carb to keep it from icing up if you are in the snow or at a point where you can start making frost.
In 2 strokes cold air is denser, fatten it up some. Lean is mean in 2S. Fatten up the high speed mixture some and the bog will go away. It's telling you feed me.
Did you access the air filter area and look for an air inlet option?
On thing you could try is 100LL Avgas. It is a pure leaded gasoline, vaporizes exceptionally well in cold environments, and tends to need a slightly leaner "jetting". This means it is a superb winter fuel.

Just like repairman54 said, fatten her up. Its just like 2 stroke sleds, they need to be tuned for the temperature. My old girls have adjustable hi/lo needle valves and i need to adjust if im running in -5c vs -30c.
I think husky has or had a partial restrictor plate for its saws if running in cold for long periods, they just restricted cooling air flow.
