Came off a coworkers 2010 Chrysler T&C 3.3 V6. It'd been 3 years and 16,000 miles since it had an oil change. It did have a lot of topoff oil added to it since it's an oil stove. The dipstick broke off in the tube and the quick lube places wouldn't change the oil because of it and he lives in an apartment complex so couldn't do it himself. This filter not long ago loosened up and started spewing oil everywhere. The anti drain back valve is hard as plastic and a lot of sludge came out of the oil pan and out of the filter when I cut it open. I think I have a little more respect for those E core filters now after seeing this. I replaced the oil with 5.5 quarts Rotella T4 15w40 and filled a Protec wix 51515 full of MMO and he said its a lot smoother now after his drive home with it. Gee, I wonder why lol.
That was a spotlessly clean drain pan before the oil change. I poured some brake fluid out of my brake bleeding jar in it and it dissolved some of the bigger chunks.
