Thoughts on preowned rental vehicles? Carmax is pretty expensive however there are some good deals at local car lots for rental owned Mazda CX – 5

At the right price, I would have no problems (but that is my preference)---no one rents a CX-5 to hoon around town.

Just assume that the car had a 10, 15, or even 20,000 mile oil change interval on the cheapest bulk filter and oil.

I don't know what the standard operating procedure is for lapsed oil changes. some sea foam? or a strict 5k mi oil changes from now on?
