My son just bought an all electric Mustang Mach E GT

I have never seen anyone get that out of a mach e gtpp.

That said, he will only be trapping 100-102 in the quarter after well over 12 seconds.

still is respectable and more than needed on the public road. Most if not all cars with that kind of power hit a limiter quite fast: engine, transmission or other driveline components can't handle the heat for long.

But EV are worse in that regard.....

He’ll regret buying it for sure.
A family member had one, after countless warranty work on the same battery/charging/software issues that Ford could not fix (cant recall exactly what) he was reimbursed under NY lemon law... however he liked the car so much he bought another Mach E and that one is fine. I think he also owns a Tesla and gas pickup... I lose track of his stuff.

Mine is past 10k miles. Tires are fine.
Driving habits have a lot to do with it. People change vehicle types and then criticize the vehicle for their improper driving habits. Sure you could make it drive like a gasoline powered vehicle by neutering the low end, but then that defeats the point of an EV's power delivery. It's what VW has done with the ID.4.
