Id drive the car more. Short tripping wont help the situation.

Keep doing what you're doing, but drive the car more. Take it on some nice long highway cruises, like 200 miles in a day and go have lunch in a town a few towns over. Also make sure the thermostat was replaced recently and not with one for a lower temperature.

^This. I see so many posts that say "a few oil changes of Brand X motor oil will clean it right up."
It doesn't happen that fast, sometimes not at all.
