2025 Chevrolet Equinox

It looks like the same 1.5L turbo that's in my wife's 2018 Equinox, probably tuned a little different. Ours is only FWD and so far after 6 years and 60,000 miles it's been decent. The turbo wastegate solenoid was replaced at 29,000 miles under warranty and the sunroof had to be 'recalibrated' at 40,000 miles for $100 at the dealer: it was out of the bumper to bumper warranty at that point. The 2025 looks nice.

OP says 4 cylinder.

The only reference I could find was the Raiti’s Rides video above. He claims it’s a 4-cylinder.

Based on the published bore and stroke of 74 x 86.6mm it should make it a 4-cylinder though.

Car & Driver also says 4 cylinder.

I was reading the post where they were talking about the Chevy Trax & thought that's what this thread was about. I now see this thread is actually about the Equinox. My mistake... You all are correct.. Thanks!!

Hated it at first, but starting to grow on me. Needs more than one engine choice. And a hybrid. Love the interior. CVT for the bread and butter model might be a bad choice.

Like my Nox, but want a truck now……..
