2020 CX5 oil capacity discrepancy

My 2022 CX5 showed full when I bought it. When the oil was changed with a 5 quart Jug it showed half way between full and low. You don't think it could have burned a half a quart backing it off the ramps?

Update:

The 1/8” over the full mark bothered me so I drained out .3 qts from the drain plug when cold into a measuring/mixing cup. With nitrile gloves, and cold, no mess and easier than I thought it would be.

Now reads 1/8” below the full mark on level ground when hot after 10 minute shut down.

It was driven 118 miles while overfilled. Should have drained the extra sooner!

Future changes will get 5.0-5.2 qts max.

Automotive OCD can be a pain sometimes!
