1989 Ford Escort GT 360,000 I ran whatever was cheapest (on sale) usually Chevron, but others as well, purolator or napa filters. changed every 3k, cam flat spotted and i didnt wanna sink any more into her. I sold her and the guy replaced the cam and is scratching at 400k now.
1973 Dodge w200 175,000 mostly pennzoil and chevron napa filters 3k changes, sold running well
1990 Mercury Topaz 150,000, chevron and mobil (non synthetic) napa filter 4k oil changes, sold running fine
1994 Subaru Legacy ej22 180,000 chevron and pennzoil, now running maxlife purolator filters 4-5k oil changes still running strong, plugs come out nice and dry, she is still running very very tight
none of them rebuilt
