Making the 4BT fit is a challenge. It's so tall that IIRC, it needs a 6 inch lift to fit between the hood and front axle with no more than stock up-travel in the suspension.
I have also been told that the 4BT is heavier than the 4.0L and that stiffer front springs would be needed to compensate for the weight.
I have to wonder if that has a major effect on the front to rear balance of a Wrangler.
The other challenge would be having it be street legal.
Would the VMotori diesel from the 2004-2006 Jeep Liberty work well?
The 4BT is a good 200 - 300 lbs heavier than a 4.0 with accessories, etc.
