So I did my spark plugs for the first time today and noticed that the tube from cylinder 3 had a small amount of oil in it. It's a 2008 Outback 2.5i with 46k miles.

I purchased the 80k 0 deductible extended warranty. Is this something covered under warranty. It seems like it should be.

Should I look into replacing the valve cover seals ASAP or let the miles accrue a bit more since only one tube is leaking?

It's a very small amount of oil and I'm not noticing any oil loss on the dipstick, and no oil dripping onto my parking pad.

There are O-Rings seals at the bottom of the spark plug bore that are leaking. When they get bad enough, you pull the valve covers, remove the spark plugs, pull the tubes and replace the O-Rings. I you are capable of changing spark plugs and removing/replacing valve covers then you can do this simple and cheap job.
