Hah - yeah I only watched a little business news when I was gone and saw the dive from the sidelines. Some yields look pretty juicy right now. Looks like some deals to buy at this point. Lemme shop...

Most of the floating rate funds are VASTLY oversold. Some have current yields in the 9's. That ridiculous. Buy.

Anyway, just found this thread today. I'm an oil guy. Silver and gold also. I like timber as in Plumb Creek among others. I love dividends. I buy and hold unless I lose 25% in a position, then I'll sell UNLESS I really know all the in's and out's of a specific company, which is rare. Someday in the near future I should be able to live off the dividends I recieve every month... Can't happen soon enough...

Thanks... Commodities and real estate... I sold my last piece of property, aside from my main residence, just over a year ago at close to the market top. I knew what was going to happen. And it didn't make any sense to me. And I think the next year or two may be good times to look for screaming deals in real estate. That's how Sam Zell made his fortune in the late 80's early 90's. Buy low and hold for a long time...
