I have Mann air filters for all my cars. Only the VW filter was made in Germany, the Mazada and Toyota filters were all made in China.

Try using K&N HP7010 instead, It's identical to Mann HU719/6X. Made in Germany vs Mann which could be made from Germany or Mexico. I can order mine from local Autozone for $8.xx. PS is their pro-series oil filters, similar to M1C451 with half of M1's price.

Both companies have headquarters in Inland Empire of SoCal. Personally my Falken experiences were much better than Kumho's.

The only good B-Stone Turanza out there is Turanza Serenity. The other Turanzas like EL42 or EL400 are all rubbish.

Sumitomo Rubber Group makes Sumitomo and Falken tires, definitely a Japanese company.
