Is there some study or studies that I'm unaware of that shows a significant positive correlation between use of K&N oil filters and an inrease in frequency of WOT events in the vehicle installed.
Anyway, though I doubt any damage was done, I wouldn't be particularly pleased with the results shown here either. Perhaps you'll be able to find a reasonably priced Mann application that will work to your satisfaction.
