It’s 24/7 365
We’ll juggle staff around when needed and give everybody as much family time as possible.

Exactly. I usually work all of the holidays, even though there is no added pay or anything except my regular OT rate. Many people like holidays, and it's just another day to me, so I t ry to make my co-workers happy.

I have the next 2 weeks off.

This year I planned it that way as we are going out of town.

I work Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I took off the 26th and 27th...already have the weekends off, so it'll be a 4-day weekend for me.

Wife is taking the entire week with the kids since they're out of school. She had 5 weeks of vacation this year. Been at her job 16 years.

Glad to be back in Government IT work again.

Just started my new job back in October, not allowed to take time off for six months.

Noticed a very slow office, we have off Christmas eve and Christmas this week.

Most employees take off 2 weeks for Christmas. Good thing to come next year for me.

I usually worked between Christmas and New Years - we called it "lame duck week". It was really productive (not many people around, not many phone calls, not many e-mails). We used to go out for lunch as a group at least once during the week.

The year is in the books. The warehouse and factory can’t promise delivery by year end so the rest of the year is goodwill and handshakes.

Entering my 29th year on the RR, I earn 16 hours a month in PTO. Off till1/13 with a trip included to Myrtle Beach to meet a realtor. Part of our exit plan out of NJ.

Just put the friggin' Maxlife in and be done with it!

Use it or lose it, so I scheduled it in. I'll probably just do some work from home, I can think of 3 projects that need to get done. Although if the wife and kids are home I might be willing to make the drive into work instead!

I usually try to save a week of time just for this. It's actually vacation or sick time. That way if I catch a bug at the end of the year I'm covered. If I stay well then it's a vacation.
