The XG6607 is a much better filter. I'm thinking of running one for two OCIs after seeing how good they look after one. Change my motorcycle oil every 3-4,000 miles. The XG filters are rated for 15-20,000 miles with synthetic.

I've been running the TG6607 on my Vic for years.


The act of preventative maintenance, in and of itself, is FAR MORE important than brand/grade/base choices among lubes and filters.
- under maintaining something is akin to abuse/neglect; that can kill equipment by shortening the lifespan
- over maintaining something has never been proven to be anything but a waste of time and money

What on earth is so special about those HKS filters? Good lord, I thought Amsoil filters were pricey! Lol

HiFlo motorcycle filters are black too. I think you want the HF204, or you can get the racing version, which has a nut on it. HiFlo makes at least some of the K&N filters. http://www.hiflofiltro.com/catalogue/filter/hf204
