Thanks, I'll check it out! I joined a huge Facebook group named "Texas HPDE, Track, TT, Road Racing, etc" that has a lot of good discussion as well.

My big suggestion for a good experience at COTA is not to stay at any motel that is along I-35. I stayed at a Red Roof Inns on I-35 when I did COTA in 2015, and didn't get any sleep for 3 nights because noise from the highway never ceases.
