The worst ones IMO are on RWD vans. They seem to be 2-3 feet long. Oil/fluid drag out when the stick is pulled from the tube make the level hard to determine.
Could you take a picture, pls? When transparent, place a small piece of paper towel on the end of the stick, the the line where the oil stops will be clear.
Yes, I see but you risk to spill the oil especially when the dipstick is longer….Could you take a picture, pls?
I think I have the same setup on my 2016 Honda. The current "orange lollipop" used on Hondas is almost useless, trying to read a shiny liquid on a shiny smooth surface, whoever designed it should go back to the ladies undergarment industry from whence he obviously came.
I also had a 2016 Civic EX-L Coupe, my first 1.5t, found the same dipstick there as in my 2023. Impossible to read with new oil, still difficult when the oil was dark. Honda, you can do better!I think I have the same setup on my 2016 Honda.
Considering I check the oil on level ground, frist thing in the morning, I don't have any issues.
