Why no tire forums?

Access to info on tires seems more readily available to the average consumer. Suspect that said consumer may be more involved in the choice of tire than the choice of oil when servicing their vehicles. As I care, I use Tirerack as one of many resources of comparative info. Seems the tire shops and chains just focus on a few profitable (for them) brands and or only on what your budget is, rather than optimizing the driver experience. Their objective is making the sale before you walk out the door.

TIRE REVELATION:
When the family was into Saabs and Volvos, many examples of which are turbocharged, I got into the respective websites.
Among the first things I learned was that there are many folk who have the resources and inclination to pound on their vehicles.
All the "car rompers" who'd grouse about only getting 10K to 20K out of their V,W,X,Y and Z rated softies kinda rubbed me the wrong way.
What did the lead foots with soft, crumbly tires expect?

If they still get 10-20K out of them, they(re not trying hard enough. Don't know what they are compaining about
