I made sure my mechanic multi-tasked when I brought the car in ions ago and had them go ahead and replace the O-Ring on just the distributor(no cap and rotor) while the car was getting a new ALT. Since then, not a word (nor leak). yeah, I guess one matriculates into the world of old school cars by osmosis when you are replacing O-Rings on distributors. It's a 1995 but you would be surprised how well that old(er) technology still is superior when executed flawlessly and that they still used distributors back as recent as then.
