Sorry for my confusion. Guess I misread the multiple quote.

I have an Everstart Maxx in my Civic, I put it in there in July 2012. It's still going strong, in fact my car sat outside in the extreme cold weather at Niagara Falls airport for 10 days and it started up last night when I got back to the car. Many of those nights were well below 0F, last night when I picked it up the temperature was 4F.

As far as I know, ALL conventional flooded cell batteries sold at Walmart (and Sears) are manufactured by JC,

JC at Sears..

Eastern Penn/Deka from Sears..

Nuff said.

BTW the Walmart batteries sold here have the caps on them like the JC from Sears, at least for .90c more at sears you get a superior battery as an option.

the design can fool you at walmart.
i have seen what appeared to be epm/deka batteries made in china and saudi arabia.
seems silly to make such a heavy item over there and ship it in.
sure the environmental laws make it harder to build them here profitably but importing them probably causes more pollution than the the laws here prevent.
