Ultra in Canada!

When I click on the "Download your rebate form here" link I don't get any form. Do we need to wait until November 1 for the form to show up?

The Walmart at Hwy 7 and 400 in Toronto has it. $36.88 ... PP next to it had a $35.97 sticker for 4.7L jug. We'll see how that works out

I'm gonna wait for it to go on rollback/sale, not too eager to give a big company like Penzoil all my personal info just to save $20. I get enough telemarketers calling as it is.

My guess is that the actual rebate form isn't going to show up on the site until Nov 1, or possibly a week or two before.

Found it at a WM in Ottawa, 5W-20 and 5w30, 5L jugs, for $36.88.

Guess I have to take back what I said about us not getting it!

:P

I emailed Shell asking whether there was a limit on the number of MIR's you could send in. Thinking of buying a few jugs if I can get the $20 off on more than just 1 jug. I'm down to only 3 jugs of PP... so might be time to stock up again

I couldn't do it!! My local WM had the new PYB SN rated 4.73L jugs for $11.88! I figured with my OCI I'd never get the benefit of Ultra... so there you have it

The wallyworld in my area now carries ultra, but, they did not have any platinum in the big jugs and I checked the shelf space and nothing for platinum. I wonder if Ultra will replace the platinum in the walmarts in Canada.

I just spoke with a supervisor at WM. Asked about the dwindling number of PP jugs on the shelf. I asked about PU and he said they had some in the back. It won't be put out on the shelf until next week. I asked what was happening with the PP, he said they are not ordering anymore in and that PU was the new 'mod' (WM speak for replacement) & PU will be $36.88 regular price.

I like the 'exceeds API SN'. And didn't the last jugs of PP state the 40% sludge removal? Is the new PYB just rebadged PP

Considering the fact that the regular price for Platinum is roughly the same price as they now charge for Ultra here, I don't see how Pennzoil could have those two products on the shelves of Walmart beside each other. Therefore I wouldn't be surprised if Platinum disappeared up here.

Things have gotten even wierder up here at Walmart, when I was in there this morning I noticed that Platinum is now priced HIGHER than Ultra! A 5L jug of Ultra is still selling for $36.88 but the same 5L jug of Platinum is now priced higher, at $37.97! What the heck is going on??

Ultra was even cheaper than that here, by about $4 per jug cheaper than yours. I just about fell over. I see pennzoil.ca still has the rebate pushed back to November 1, 2010.

I'm tempted, but I want to stick to GC this winter. Perhaps I'll buy some anyhow to take advantage of the rebate.

Its the same way with PP>PU here in Alberta so silly...I foresee PP staying where it is at ~$37 and the PU heading up to the mid upper $45+ by M1 EP and Castrol Edge. Then after the PYB is done at $11.88 it will head back up to the upper $teens. Luckily I really stocked up on PP old bottle for $19.88/4.4L when I did (still have 7+ left..)

I kind of want to grab a few PU's but I am really leery of mail in rebates, I got ripped of once and said I wouldn't do it again (stupid tax software company Intuit) At ~$17 PU would be a steal.
