Ultra in Canada!

I finally spotted Pennzoil Ultra up here! My local Walmart (near Mavis and Britannia in Mississauga) has 5L jugs of 5w20 and 5w30 Ultra for $36.88. That's a better price than Edge which is $44 for 4.4L. Pennzoil has a $20 rebate on Ultra starting Nov 1 up here too, so that means 5L of Ultra is only $16.88! That's a bargain!

Well thats great news to here.At least you are the first to spot it.I go to walmart once a week to check to see if there are any in stock but no avail..i do hope it comes my way to windsor and if i do see it i sure will stock up on it..i even looked around town here when i had nothing better to do so i visit some local stores window shopping to search for mobil clean 5000 and would you think we had the stuff here? not a chance..unless i go to Murrys or Pep Boys in the USA...good find Patman

When I went on Pennzoil Canada's website just a minute ago, they've got a part where you put in your postal code and it tells you where to find Ultra and it also listed a whole bunch of Canadian Tire stores in my area too. So it's not just limited to Walmart here (a much better idea than the rollout of this oil in the US!)

In the interim I had heard that Pennzoil was making further 'tweaks' to the formula to get it just right

They need an official rollout here still IMO. Along with a nice BOGO or rebate. I noticed that the Syntec at WM is exact same price as PU jugs. I cannot imagine getting Syntec instead of the PU beside it.

That's a great deal particularly on the 5w30 grade. Heck that's only 3.38/L; better than their dino! I've never seen their PP sold that cheaply, although I don't like the bother of mail-in rebates. Haven't seen it my WalMart yet; Burlington at Fairview.

Actually they have 5 quart jugs of the latest SN rated PYB 5w30 and 10w30 at Walmart right now for only $11.88. It's too bad they don't have 5w20 for that price though.

I did that, too. Unfortunately, none of them had any in stock, nor marked on the shelf. I checked Canadian Tires and Walmarts.

Nice find. My WM prices Edge the same, and has been running a pretty steady $11.88 rollback on PYB for the last few months too. I'm hoping PU gets marked at the the same price here as there, since then I'll wind up getting it, after rebate, for less than what I've bought already low priced PP for.

If it gets priced the same as Edge, I'm willing to go that high for it. After the Rebate its then reduced to the same price Mobil 1 EP is everyday priced at CT now.

As I won't need it any time soon, I'm content so long as it shows up here before the rebate ends.

Ditto here. Just yesterday I checked a WM and a CT that exist side by side and no sign PU in either. Clearly just a matter of time...it will for sure be available in time for the Christmas shopping season
