I have been getting . . . . bored. . . .

I can't blame you. I went through something similar when I was in my mid 20s. I hope you picked something fun. Good luck.

This thing MOVES!

I will start a new thread with good photos (non cell phone) and more about it this weekend.

Now THAT'S a good looking car right there. Manual trans?

Looking forward to seeing some pics. Heck, maybe I'll see you driving around!

Thanks!

Yes, the WRX's are only produced with a manual Trans.

Nice car, and quite a list of "sold" cars you've amassed there. Enjoy your new WRX! Looking forward to high-res pictures in a few more days.

As did I.

Nice choice. Those cars are a lot of fun for just a little bit of money. You enjoy it -- and that's what counts.

shopped around and I got Geico for $30 cheaper than what I was paying Allstate for the VW!!!

In January this year I turned 25 and my driving record is perfect so my rates are really good.

I am looking forward to you telling us what oil you are going to use.

I have a VERY good idea.

I am going to start a thread in the Oil forum.

For me, it wasn't much different than anything else. When I toyed with the idea of a new car, I ran some insurance numbers since USAA let's you just plug in anything to your policy for a quote. Out of curiosity I put a WRX in and it was hardly different from the other new cars I put in that were far less exciting. I'm 30.

Now if only I could accept the 20 mpg on premium with the length of my commute and driving a stick in DC area gridlock, I'd be ordering one of the last 2013s.
