Towing with a U-haul

I have a fancy 7 way to 4 way conversion adapter, and verified the brake circuit has power to the correct pin.

If a trailer has 4 pin it does not have electric brakes. 4 pin is lights only

U hauls use hydraulic surge brakes that are mechanical. No electric, no wires, no brake controler. That's why a uhaul can be towed by any type of vehicle.

Either way, the brakes never worked!
