Post your latest oil change

2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 at 70k miles.

Out: Fram 0W-30 oil at 3,000 miles. Dealer fill.
In: Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 (API SP version). Mann HU 711/6z filter. (First ever oil change by myself!)

This is what Fram 0W-30 looked like at 3,000 miles;
(I'll send it for oil analysis)

Now that my 2 year stash of rebate and sale oil was gone, I ordered a bunch of Quaker State Ultimate Protection today for $20.74 a jug. I love me some SOPUS oil at a great value.
Great oil for the price. Really impressed how it runs in the Acura in signature.

Just got done with the Accent. 190,000 miles. I looked at my records and it's been since 1/22 and about 5k miles. I treated it to a new vintage Fram 9688 and 3.5 qts Citgo SuperGard 5w30 HM. Out M1 5/30 HM. I was afraid to leave the filter on longer but it came off single handedly.

Same as always for the Ranger.

5000 Miles

Havoline LongLife 5W30 In/Out
Bosch Distance+ Filter - I think this is my last one though, next up are MC's FL400?(I think)

Also might be buying a bunch of Valvoline in the future, so the Havoline might get replaced since its cost has gone up recently and the Valvoline Garage Boxes are a better deal if you can buy 4 of them at a time.

I also drained and refilled the trans for the first time. The factory fill ATF was really dark, almost black and had a burnt smell. I refilled it with 4.5 quarts of synthetic Dexron VI. I’m aiming to do another drain and fill at the next oil change.

I drained and refilled the trans again with synthetic Dex VI. The transmission fluid looked (and smelled) better this time than it did last time but it’s still pretty dirty looking (see paper towel). The third picture with the Maxlife jug is what the fluid looked like the first time I drained it.

First oil change in our new-to-us 2015 XC60 D5 R-Design Polestar. 2.4L 5cyl twin-turbo diesel, 169kW/470Nm. 231,000km on the odometer (though you’d never know – it drives very nicely indeed).

Oil out: no idea
Filter out: Ryco

Oil in: mixture of what I had laying around, some Castrol Edge 0W-30 A5, some Petronas Syntium E 0W-30 C2 and just a dash of Castrol Edge 0W-40 A3/B4. This engine calls for a 0W-30 A5.
Filter in: MANN HU 719/8 y

FA/FB Subarus raise the question on why every owner isn’t using a MityVac or something similar. Everything up top, about 10 minutes tops for whole change. The tiny bit left behind isn’t going to make any difference. 👍🏻
I'm actively trying to talk him into using an extractor. He isn't quite as mechanically inclined and doesn't really have any tools. But with an extractor and possibly filter wrench he should be able to easily do his own oil changes at home.
