Post your latest oil change

2003 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 V6 Sport w/ 5sp manual
130,700 miles on ODO. 5,700 mile OCI.
out: Mazda full-synthetic 5W-30
in: 4qt Valvoline MaxLife NextGen 5W30 (2011 vintage) + 2.5qt Shell Rotella T6 5W-40, Motorcraft FL-400S filter

Note: As I poured in the last quart of the old Valvoline, I noticed a bit of white greasy substance on the funnel. Consistency of soft lard. I am not really concerned but surprised that motor oil is starting to turn to a solid after less than 13 years in a sealed bottle. Hopefully some heat cycling and mix with fresh Rotella will rejuvenate it!

Wow, talk about a blast from the past...
I haven't seen those bottles in probably 10 years. I'm sure it will serve your vehicle well.

1985 Chevy Camaro, built small block Chevy and a 5 speed.

Out was redline 10w40 and a wix filter.
In went 6 quarts Mobil 1 15w50 and a Fram xg5

Usually use redline 10w40, but wanted to save a little money and Mobil at Walmart was the cheapest I could find that was a synthetic and had the proper zinc/phosphorus levels for the cam and lifters with the stiff valve springs I have.

2021 Ford Ranger 2.3 EB.

Had just under 4,500 miles on this oil change. Way under what I “could’ve” done, but I spent 400 miles towing and another 200 miles in Western MD going up and down the mountains as well as a little camping adventure. OLM was at 55% (could care less), but typically I’ve seen it at about 65% at my typical oil change timing which is roughly 4,500 miles. Obviously my truck’s computer knew I was pushing it more than usual.

Out: QSUD 5W-30
Filter removed: Fram XG3614

2009 Ford fusion 3.0 V6

Out. Mobil 1 hm 5w20 and pureone l24651

In. State hm full syn 0w20 and a supertech 10575 filter.

Turns out I've been running the wrong filter on it since I bought it last year. For this year fusion ford changed filter specs and specs to the Fl500s after 9/09 and this car of course it was made in October of 09

While I don't think it ultimately matters what filter you use, the PH2 equivalent is probably a better match to the Fl500 than the 10575 since the 10575 is a high bypass filter and I'm pretty sure the Motorcraft filter is more of a typical pressure bypass filter, that filter size and the aftermarket equivalents are kind of a mess, in the filters directly from Champion labs there are two seperate part numbers that are that size the ph500 with the standard bypass valve and the ph10063 with the higher pressure valve while Fram only has the 10575 and the Delco PF63 is considered a cross reference, so really it's hard to say what the "correct" filter should be since all the filter manufacturers don't seem to be in agreement.

FYI - The FL500S and the Fram 10575 cross-over to each other, and according to this post with info from Todd Vick at Purolator, the FL500S has a bypass valve setting of 17+ PSI.

2012 Toyota Yaris Sedan - 137,822 Miles

What was on : Valvoline Full Synthetic High Milage MaxLife 5W-30 & 90915-YZZN1 filter, around 4500 miles driven before BG EPR flush & drain.

What went back in : 0.8 Quarts of HPL EC30 + 3.2 Quarts of new same oil and 11oz of BG MOA. Filled gas tank to full and added 11oz BG 44K. Oversized OEM YZZD3 filter installed.

Car was recently flushed today and after comparing the differences of oil color , the oil didn't get much darker than I anticipated compared to by bro's 2010 prius that burns lots of oil at 270k miles, meaning this car is still running clean with no mechanical problems.
The BG EPR flush was done as a preventative maintenance and quick start to move to HPL oils in the next drain.
