His: 2001 Jeep Cherokee

Out: QSUD 10w30, Napa Gold, 5668mi oci
In: 5qt Valvoline Maxlife Blend 5w30, 1qt Valvoline FSwML 10w30, Supertech ST16

this fill took me over 200,000mi

Hers: 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT 1.8L 6MT
Out: Valvoline Instant Oil Change 5w20 and Filter (looked sturdy actually, maybe a wix? silicone adbv)
In: M1 EP 0w20, Fram Ultra XG9688

this car is a new to her, engine looks spotless through the fill hole so good job Valvoline.
Redline MT-85 and some new NGKs are next on the list.

M-1 note; I don't care if the product is PAO or not. It was half price on Black Friday, and I needed a 0Wxx for the winter in this truck.

I always buy price vs performance, and at $23 C$ per US gallon, I thought it was a good deal, hurricane driven or not.

3 oil changes today.

did 2 myself and helped my brother with his.


2002 F150 5.4, 207,000 miles, Supertech ST2 and Citgo 5w30 Supergard synblend out.

Protec filter installed and Citgo 5w30 put back in it.


2015 Escape, 37,900 miles, FL910s removed and Castrol Magnetec 5w20 drained, new FL910s installed and put Magnetec 5w20 back in it.



I helped my brother change the oil for the first time on his new to him 2016 F150 with the 2.7 ecoboost. He bought it from a local dealer and first oil change since he bought it so i assume it had a motorcraft filter in it and probably Motorcraft 5w30 blend.

put a motorcraft cartridge filter back in it with Pennzoil Platinum 5w30.

5 quarts in and out; easy peasey.
 
1987 BMW 535is - 265,700~ miles 4K ~ OCI.

Out - Mobil 1 15W50 + ceratec until I broke the oil pan and refilled with whatever I had on hand, it was an oil gumbo. Champ p828.

In - Valvoline 15w40 Maxlife HDEO + 1/4 bottle of Hyper-lube and Mahle filter.

Out not sure what I used last, quite possibly castrol edge 0w40
In VWB 3 qt 5w20 mixed with 2 qt Delvac 15w40

No filter change this time

Funny that OVERKILL just posted, since I probably just earned an "Overkill Award" for this one: today changed the oil on the new 2018 Prius. Filled it with 4.4 qts of M1 AFE 0w-20. The overkill part? The car has only 700 miles. Why? It was a leftover 2018 I bought last week after the 04 died (stuck brake overheat & near-fire damage = 4x car's value...). Mfr date is Jan 2018, so it took the long boat ride and got short tripped for a year. This was probably not necessary, but I do feel better about it...

^ Try some Valvoline Maxlife 5w30 or Honda 0w20 syn-blend since it never burned much oil using that.
