What's done to your 'stang? I had an '87 T-Top, it lives on in the body of an '82 Capri now. BTW, it is "Mobil" not "Mobile".

1988 Totota Corola, 2.0L FI - 268,000 miles

Kendall 5w30 Syn Blend
12-oz. MMO (Every Oil Change)
Fram PH2951 Oil Filter

2000 Cavalier Convertible 2.2L SFI - 97,000 miles

Kendall 5w30 Syn Blend
12-oz. MMO (Every Oil Change)
Fram PH3387A Oil Filter

1989 Chevy Caprice Classic - 502,500km's (311,550 miles)

removed Pennzoil 10W30 YB dino and Purolator Pure One filter

Installed Pennzoil Platinum 10w30 and Wix higher end filter

Going to run it to 510,000km's which means a 4650mile OCI. Then next time run it to 520,000km's for a 6200 mile OCI. Was doing shorter intervals to get the engine cleaned up some before running longer intervals through the winter with synthetic. This way I should only have to do one more oil change before spring time I hope. I hate changing oil when its below 0 out.

I just bought the mustang a couple of months ago. It is a notch with origional paint and interior. It has a rebuilt 306 with keith black pistons, edelbrock performer rpm intake, crower cam with roller rockers, holley carb and full length headers.

I settled for an AOD w/shift kit car because it was in such great shape and so far I haven't regreted it.

I can't believe how much fun it is to drive

Mine hasn't been running in the new body yet, or since it was converted to carb. I've got a set of ported GT40's with a Weiand Xcelerator topped with a Holley DP with an HP mainbody. Cam is from Camshaft Innovations, Crane roller rockers, Crane HI-6 box feeding it, underdrives, backed by a T5 and Cobra IRS. Still have to do tubular K and junk before I will say I am "happy" with how it is.

Taken it to the strip yet?

Nope no strip time yet, I'm still working on tuning or just replacing the holley and fooling around with the timing.
Still enjoying driving it everyday to work though!

Sounds like you've got quite the project on your hands there!

They are great carbs, is your a DP or VS? There are a LOT of performance upgrade parts available for them too. A very useful tool for you may be a wideband, because it will let you get that thing tuned "just right".

Is the Corolla a custom job ?
Just curious, because '88 Corolla's came with a 1.6.
They are GREAT cars. I had 289k on my '91 when I sold it.
