Oils With Most Moly and No Moly

Mobil has used low dose trimer moly for years.
Ravenol used 2x Mobil dose of trimer moly when they came to NA market with EFE 0W16 in 2016

Also, do not forget the "scavenger effect" when analyzing Red Line.
This oil is polar.
It displaces metals on engine surfaces and bonds there.
Eventually the ppm of iron come down when using Red Line.

[In a good condition engine] Eventually the ppm of iron come down when using any oil approved for the application, with or without moly. That's what the data suggests, or so I read.

Redline is an awesome oil though.

I just looked at the excel file I've been adding to as I come across VOA's and UOA's for 5w30 SN+ oils for my 3.5L EcoBoost. From the limited data I have, the most moly is found in:

Quaker State UD: 129ppm
Rotella Gas Truck: 160ppm
Amsoil Signature Series: 279ppm

Schaeffers is north of 250ppm. Idk if salesrep on here has the exact number, but yeah, its SN+ as well

There are many more off the shelf lubes with moly at or greater than 200ppm moly.

According to PQIA, Schaeffer 9000 5w30 showed 309 moly. I use the stuff in my 2015 Chevy 2500 6.0 and my wife's 2017 Chevy Equinox 2.4.

If you want something "noisy" and no Moly for testing purposes, just get the average Mobil 1 variety from WalMart, it will certainly make your engine sound like a sewing machine!
