Any manufacturers that still make a normal TV with no features except audio and video inputs?
It's like buying a new car that doesn't tell your insurance company how fast you drive. That's like buying a new car that isn't fuel injected.
At some point the manufacturers are going to stop providing external AV inputs to force you to connect the TV to the internet.Just don't connect it to the internet and you will, in effect, have a non-smart TV. Duh?
Ok you don't have to be rude. Duh?Just don't connect it to the internet and you will, in effect, have a non-smart TV. Duh?

Get a monitor with a soundbarAny manufacturers that still make a normal TV with no features except audio and video inputs?
I suppose it might be possible to just get a large HDMI monitor with external audio. But for the most part it's so cheap to put the smart TV hardware integral to the TV.
At the very least, traditional TVs would have a tuner and the ability to just take a cable TV input. On an older TV I'd just connect the cable line and would get video directly without a cable box. Or I suppose the idea might be to connect a cable box.
are you located in a mountainous area? how high is your antenna wonder if placement would get you more channels... have you played around with antenna placement?I got my TV today and it works excellent. I connected it to my outside antenna and it picks up 9 channels with ease .
